"To Know Christ and Make Him Known"

Mentoring servant-leaders to love God's worth, live out God's Word in community, and to liberate God's world through the ministry of the local church.

Spiritual Formation

The core of our ministry is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt 28:19-20). Our Lord Jesus Christ has commanded us to be his witnesses in our local communities as well as to the ends of the earth. It is our desire to see men and women embrace Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and "rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith" (Col 2:7).

The Lord has empowered the local church as the base of ministry. We believe in the authority of the local church. The local church is the launching pad and locus of ministry. We believe that as individuals are won to Christ, discipled, and trained for church planting ministries that the result will be the establishment of more churches.

Evangelism and discipleship ministries function as the basic platform from which all our other ministries derive. We see the need to partner with other local churches in reaching out into communities to share the gospel of Christ. Those who have come to know Christ as Lord and Saviour need to be discipled. We want to impress upon those saved the need to be engaged in a process of spiritual formation. This is imperative for all who are saved especially those who are teenagers and young adults.

The concept of spiritual formation saturates all that we do at Synergy Leadership. It is encapsuled in the phrase "to know Christ." We desire to help believers become conformed to the image of Christ. This intimate walk with the Lord is what galvanizes us to "make Christ known."

We need to mobilize the church to evangelize and disciple these teenagers and young adults. They need to be nurtured in the faith to develop a Biblical worldview. We must help them grow in the faith by emphasizing the basic building blocks of the sanctificiation process: prayer, Bible study, fasting, Bible memorization, meditation, simplicity, solitude, submission, service, confession, worship, guidance, and celebration.

We are praying that the Lord will provide the funds needed to develop a "Word of Life" type of camp facility where we can offer various types of leadership and team building experiences.
